ACER shirasawanum 'Aureum'

Slow growing, especially when young, bushy shrub, with many sharply-toothed lobes on soft yellow leaves. Colour stays throughout the season, but can scorch in full sun. In autumn the leaves turn to yellow-orange and red.(6)

They grow best in sheltered positions and in good, moist well-drained soil; half-shade.
